In Integrated studies Daniel and I had to pick question about the ancient Olympics and find the answer, and here are our answers to our questions.

What was given to those who won in the ancient Olympics? For the people who won got olive branches.

What events were held at the first Olympics? The events was
athletics,cycling,fencing,shooting,swimming,tennis,

weightlifting,wrestling.

When did the ancient Olympic start? 2,700 years ago. in olympia.

Who started the Olympics? The Greeks started the olympic games in 776 bc.

What was the penalty for people cheating in the ancient Olympics? If you were caught cheating, you had to pay fines.

David Copperfield

Here's a summary about chapter 2 of David Copperfield written by Charles Dickens

Chapter 2 is about Davy observing his childhood. He remembers the times his nurse/housekeeper, Peggotty use to take him to church. She also used to look after him when his Mum was out. One night his mother came home with a gentleman. The same one that escorted them home after church. His name was Mr. Murdstone. Davy did not like him.
2 months later Peggotty asked if Davy would like to spend a fortnight at her brothers, away from home. Davy was excited to leave but at the same time he was sad to leave his home and his mum.
