Smells like hell
we all ran away
ate lots of food
and saw some poo
then we all said eh eh.


Dingle Dell

THE ASSASSIN MARCO...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Centuries ago their was a group of assassins against men who could turn into a liking when there is a full moon.Likings are like wear wolves but they are stornger,faster and louder. The Likings took one of the assassins men and the assassins are going to get him back. Liking are just like to wear wolves clothing but their stronger, faster and louder. The assassins wanted to kill them all so they charged as fast as they could to the likings and the likings charged to them to at the same speed as the assassins.

While they were both running to each other they jumped to each other and the captain of the Likings bit one of the assassins head off and the assassins captain called “Marco chopped one Liking into half in the stomach”. After all the other assassins and Likings died . Their was only the two captains left , the last two captains left and one was from the lLkings and one from the Assassins. Next they ran into each other and they bumped each other and fell backwards. After they bumped into each other they ran to each other again and the assassin sliced the Likings head off. The assassin thinks it over but its just the beggining of the war against assassin Marco and the likings.

my second holiday

Guess what happened at Pakuranga Hoyts? Me and my family went to watch Transformers: Dark of the Moon. First we got there by a car. When we got there we went straight up the escalator's and went an got our tickets. Before we went inside the cinema we got our ice creams and popcorn and then we went and gave our tickets to the ticket person, she riped it and told us to go inside cinema 5.

Next we got inside the cinema and sat on our seats. Before the movie started I finished my ice cream. In the beginning of the movie there was a space ship crashing on the moon and then the humans found it. I started to get hungry again so I ate the popcorn and I drank my soda.

Finally after three hours of the movie we went outside of the cinema and went to the toilets. After a while my brothers came out and my cousins came out to. Eventually we went back to the car and got in and drove off.

Swimming

Today the water was splashing all over my face. Mr Burton said “lets play captains coming”. captains coming is a pretty good game because you can get energizing. When I got into the pool I was amazed to go back in it again and have some time to learn how to swim.I want to be the best torpedo as I glide like fish.

First T3 Post

I’m back at school and I’ve finished having a rest and I am ready to blog some work. I’m looking forward to our new swimming pool. The other thing I’m looking forward to is the Rugby World Cup because its in New Zealand and I live in New Zealand.

NET BOOK TOOL

I think that “Net books” are good because they help kids with their learning .

Net books help you with your writing as you don’t get sore hands when you write with a pencil.

The second reason is that the net book assists you chat with your teacher, is instead of standing up waiting in line. You can do other work while you wait for a reply.

A further reason is you get access to the dictionary all the time. No more waiting for a hard copy. Just use your book and look on the online dictionary and that would be a faster to get a dictionary.

The next thing is that you can teacher conference from home with the net book, but with the exercise book you can not.

Dear Mum,

Thanks for paying the bills and for looking after me. I appreciate the wonderful lunches you make for me in the mornings and I am so grateful for everything that you have done for me.

HOLIDAYS and adventures April 2011

I was excited to go to my little baby cousins birthday on Anzac day, he is turning two and his name is called Evan. When I got there I saw cousins, uncles, aunties. While more people came in the house, the house got pretty full of people. When everyone was here the adults had a chat to each other.

Strait after they finished chatting to other people, then they decided to eat, first we sang the happy birthday song to Evan and then the little kids ate. First we ate hot chips,chicken nuggets, sausages and domino’s pizza. After we ate we had dessert, the old people had cake and ice cream and the little kids had ice blocks.

While people finished their dessert, some people left and then other people left. Before we left I said happy birthday to my little cousin and said “goodbye.”

DO YOU LIKE LITTERING?

Have you ever littered? I have. It does not feel right to litter, because if someone comes and litters around you house. You would be angry at them right so don’t litter before someone has to waste their time picking it up for you. So that means littering is bad for the environment. But its your choice if you want to litter.

The world is beautiful and litter free,
Opp! I spotted some litter it made me a little bit angry
I saw litter and a potato fritter
I saw a few bottles of mountain dew , recycle recycle
I asked someone to pick it up and put in the can but they said no
Its not their rubbish .
I picked it up like a good citizen so that the world can be beautiful.

Anzac letter

Dear John ,

I’ll probably be dead by now, but I am going on an extremely dangerous mission at a beach called Semparfy (the code name f made up for the real beach, not the official code name) . We are going to get our soldiers back from the Russians. They were taken as prisoners, after our last engagement with the enemy. My friend Micheal died on patrol last week. All I heard was Bang!! bang!!, he had been hit by a sniper who had shot him on the head, I called the medics to come, then I shot back at him. I not sure if I got him but I am sure he hightailed it out of the area.

I hope our mission will be successful at driving the Russians back and retreating back behind their borders. Yes, by the way I’ve killed over a dozen troopers and I have now stopped counting, there have been so many.

If I survive this mission they may give me some leave before I do my next tour of duty.

Please say Hi to all my family and give them the letter to read.

Floating and sinking

We have been looking at why things sink and float. It is amazing what happens in nature.


This week room six did a little test about sinking and floating, first we had pots filled with water and we had to guess if the stuff that Mrs Oldfield gave us.

Next week we will continue to look at the why. Do you know about buoyancy, and displacement of water in the tank. As I notice every time I placed something in the tank the water level changed.

DID YOU SEE MARY MACKILLOP at our school!

It was a cold morning when I came to school on Thursday the 9th of May. After line up we went inside the hall for the Mary MacKillop show. As I entered through the door I spotted that the seating had been place in a crescent shape it seemed like a real theater. Inside the hall there was a man waiting for us. The audience went quiet as we sat and settled the whole of St Pius X school seated. Then he introduced himself "hi ,my name is Scott and this is Julia" Julia pocked out her hand out behind the backdrop of the stage but t look like a cupboard until a backdrop, they secretly went there to change to their other clothes. Everyone pointed to Julia's hand and Scott followed were our hands went, our hands went side to side. After a while Julia took on the role of Mary MacKillop when she was small.

First they started the show off with a ride on a billy cart and then they crashed into buckets, which look like a house, by the way a billy cart was a small car made out of wood., we call them trolleys afterwards Scott was acting like a little kid who was poor and selling matches for a penny then Julia said to him “stop, hello what’s your name” then Scott response “hi my name is Kelly and my last name is Kelly and my middle name is Susanne, I am selling matches for a penny, because my family is poor and I’ve got no dad.Julia said to Kelly “if you go to the saint Joesph school you can learn there and they can will give you new clothes.

Suddenly Mary Mackillop fired her baby sitter because she was drinking while holding the baby, suddenly another bad thing happened, her friend that was in the holy faith sisters got burned by a fire and Kelly told Mary Mackillop that she wants to see her before she dies. When Mary Mary got there, she went strait to her room and saw her on the bed raped up in a cloth. Just then Mary Mackillop prayed for her and then her she died. At the end Saint Pius kids could ask questions about them ,then we all went back to our classes.

Athletes gather for the challenge

History was in the making as the children from St Pius X were gathering for the school athletics day. On Friday before morning tea St Pius X school got dressed in our athletics team colour. The colours were green, yellow, red and blue and we wore them with pride. As we did not want the wrong house to get points. After we got changed it was morning tea, but as soon as morning tea was finished we assembled one by one into our house lines red, green, blue and yellow or as my friend would say Tui, Gecko, Kea, Kiwi. Kiwis went with Geckos on the right side of the hall, my group Keas went with Tuis on the left side of the hall.

After we marched around the hall we sat on the blue mats with the littlest at the front and then oldest at the back. Next Mr Coakley talked to the children and the parents about what we were going to do. We all cheered as the games were about to begin.

First it was the five year old boys and girls heats and then the finals. Groups were cheering for their people who were racing. Next the six year old athletes raced and then the sevens, eights, nines and then it was my turn. I was so nervous because I didn’t want to let my team down but guess what? When Mr Gaffney said “go “ Asi jumped the line. Then I lost, I came last in the heat, Jonah came third, Isiah came second and David came first. When I finished my heart was pumping fast, then the elevens,twelves,thirteen year old followed one after the other. After the sprints it was the eight hundred meter race which was going to be twice around the school field. After the eight hundred meter race it was the four hundred meter race that was once around the school field.

Next I heard my stomach making sounds but thank goodness it was lunch time. We all went back to our bags to get our lunch and as usual we went to play. After finishing my food, I played in the courts with my friends. First we played catch with the small rugby ball and after we had enough of playing catch we decided to play touch.

After lunch time we went back and sat on our blue mat, then we started novelty races. Novelty races are like fun races but we don’t get points for it. The first novelty race was room one up to room four,then it was the seniors turn, first it was Tui vs Kiwi, Tius won the battle. It was then our turn to battle the Geckos and we won, then it was my team against Tuis. I didn’t know who won out of my group Keas or Tuis. After the novelty races someone called out the places. Geckos won the overall competition again, but I enjoyed the day who ever won or lost it was a great and memorable day of competition.
